Permit Photo Uploads: REROOF, FURNACES, AC’s, BOILERS & WATER HEATERS

CMS now requires all reroof, furnace, ac, boiler & water heater inspections to be completed by using digital photos.  See the guidance documents below for required photos and reference the following for general tips.

  1. Review guidance documents to know what photos are required to be submitted.
  2. Find applicable link for photo submittal at wse.engineering.  Choose the CMS box and simply select the star of the city, township or county on the map that your permit is located within and select the last option photos upload and more info to the right, highlighted in blue.  (or click the “upload links” option below).
  3. Search for your permit by number, address, applicant name, etc.
    1. A few tips
      1. Permit numbers are 8 digits long with no spaces.
      2. When searching with parcel address, less is more. Try searching using only the house number, if the full address doesn’t yield results.
      3. For 2023 & 2022 permits, search using Legacy Permit number, excluding the abbreviation. Ex: KA23-123 would be 23-123.
      4. Permits prior to 2022 cannot be found this way.
    2. Select the permit number highlighted in blue (1st option under column options or view to the far right.
    3. Choose files (near bottom of page).
    4. Upload file(s).
    5. Access code

*Your contractor access code will be needed to upload. This code can be requested via email, available on the Permit Inspection Record, or can be requested by contacting us.

  1. Once ALL photos are submitted, you may view your submission after refreshing the page or logging back into the chosen permit to insure ALL required and sufficient photos are available for inspection.

**PLEASE NOTE: IF INSUFFICIENT PHOTOS ARE SUBMITTED, AND A RE-INSPECTION IS REQUIRED, AN $80 REINSPECTION FEE WILL BE ISSUED AND REQUIRED TO BE PAYED BEFORE THE FINAL INSPECTION CAN TAKE PLACE
